Privacy Policy
Mizab. Last updated 17 August 2026.
Mizab collects nothing. It has no servers, no accounts, no analytics and no advertising.
Location
Mizab asks for your location to calculate prayer times and the direction of the Qibla. Your coordinates are used on your device and stored only on your device, inside the app's private storage, so the app and its widgets can show times without asking again. They are never transmitted to us or anyone else, because the app has no backend to transmit them to.
You can decline location access and enter a city manually instead. When you enter a city, the name is sent to Apple's geocoding service to turn it into coordinates. That request is handled by Apple under Apple's own privacy policy.
Other data
Prayer logs, streaks and settings are stored on your device only. Deleting the app deletes all of it. There is no backup to any service we control.
The app contains no third party SDKs, no trackers and no crash reporting.
Children
Mizab is suitable for all ages and collects no data from anyone.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with an updated date.
